Ronald D Grant

1958-2009

Ronald D. Grant, age 51, of Carson City and Fernley, Nev., passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009, with his family by his side. Born on May, 1958, Ronald was the son of Dennis and Louise Grant of Little River, Calif.

In 1979 Ronald started a very successful career at Raley's grocery store. He was the store director of the Carson City Raley's. He was well known with staff and customers for being an upbeat and energetic leader. This excellence in leadership lead him to win the Prestigious President's Award in 2005, Raley's highest honor.

Ronald will always be remembered by family and friends for being a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had a passion for life and loved fishing. We know he is in Heaven now fishing with his dad and St. Peter.

Ronald is survived by his mother Louise Grant, his wife Darlene Grant and his children Ryan and Leigh Grant. He is also survived by four siblings, four stepchildren and seven grandchildren.

A public memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, located at 3597 N. Sunridge Drive, Carson City, NV 89705.
