Garden seminars this weekend

Learn about raising fruit trees in Northern Nevada

Here, In Northern Nevada, we have a wide variety of fruit trees that will grow in this area and provide a good fruit yield.

David Ruf, owner of Greenhouse Garden Center, will give the free seminar "All About Fruit Trees In N. Nevada" at 10 a.m. Saturday.

There are no reservations required. Weather permitting, the seminar will be held outdoors so dress appropriately.

There will also be a large selection of fruit trees available for purchase and those who attend the seminar will receive a coupon for 15 percent off of up to five items purchased for that weekend.

You can garden with less work, less weeding, and less watering in a smaller space.
