Carson boat registration services shutdown

Citing budget cuts, the Department of Wildlife has temporarily suspended boat titling and registration services at Carson City's DMV office.

Wildlife spokesman Aaron Meier said the department hopes to re-establish the one-day-a-week service at a new location in Carson City in the future. He said the state's fiscal crisis prompted the service cut.

Boat inspections are still being offered in Reno, Winnemucca and Fallon.
