Rebecca Mae Richards

November 7, 1951 - April 24, 2010

Rebecca Mae Richards, 58, passed away peacefully in her home on April 24, 2010. She was a Carson City resident for the past 19 years. She was born to Kenelm and Erma Johnson on Nov. 7, 1951, in Los Angeles where she lived until moving to Carson City. 

She had an endless love for her daughters and grandchildren. She loved picnicking or feeding the ducks in the park on spring days with her grandchildren, taking care of her pets, and doing kind things for others. Her family and friends will deeply miss her. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenelm Johnson of Carson City; her brother Garrett Johnson of California; and sister Judy Johnson of California.

Among her survivors are her husband Jerry of Carson City; her daughters Gina Brown of Whittier, Calif., and Jessica Trejo of Carson City; her mother Erma Johnson of Carson City; and eight grandchildren, Natasha, Hayley, Natalie, Austin, Andrew, Madison, Becca, and Jake.
