Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail:

• A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Monday at Walmart on suspicion of petty larceny. He was allegedly caught stealing $18 worth of earphones, while he had $311 in his wallet. Bail was set at $847.

• A 58-year-old unemployed woman was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Monday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A man reported at 4:11 p.m. his estranged wife was getting credit in his name.

• Report at 4:51 p.m. of a man using a crowbar to beat his way into a locked business on Fairview Drive. When deputies arrived they found the 51-year-old man trying to kick in the door. The man claimed he was an employee and his medication was locked inside. The business owner claimed the two had a dispute earlier over the man allegedly stealing from the company and he was let go. The business owner requested the man be arrested and deputies obliged.

• A red, white and blue 1989 Honda dirt bike was reported stolen from the 3200 block of Banjo Circle at 6:14 p.m.
