Eddie Hamlin, a life-long resident of Carson City, passed away Aug. 26, 2010. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Glady and Wallace Hamlin. He is survived by his wife, Gail; son Gary Hamlin and wife Carol; daughters Cindy Dennison and husband Jim, Terry Wildes, and Carla Lanning; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Ed retired after 30 years with NDOT. He enjoyed camping, boating, and hunting. He was a square dancer with the Capital Cutups for many years. Ed was also an Air Force veteran. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at Eddie and Gail's home. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
