Drew Simmons joins Nevada Appeal

Drew Simmons has been named the Nevada Appeal's lead advertising account manager.

Simmons, a Carson City resident since 2006, will manage territory sales, special projects and will develop marketing solutions for community clients.

Simmons is the former sales and marketing manager at the Marilyn Lewis State Farm Insurance agency in Carson City.

"We are excited about Drew joining our team," said Nevada Appeal Publisher Niki Gladys. "With her strong values and commitment to our community, Drew is a great fit for the Nevada Appeal."

As a marketer, Simmons has worked in the insurance, financial services, health care, hospitality, software, restaurant, print media and non-profit industries. She has worked for clients as well as agencies.

"This position is a great fit for my interests and career goals and it appears that I'm in the right place at the right time," she said.

Simmons is also involved with the Carson City Library Board of Trustees, WE of the World Carson City chapter, Carson City Downtown Business Association and Carson City Chamber of Commerce. She's also the co-founder of Carson Area Marketing and PR Network.
