Obituary: Doris Harbeson-Stemler

Doris Harbeson-Stemler, 83, a 50-year resident of Carson City, died Dec. 2, 2010. She was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Bronx, N.Y. She is survived by her husband, Peter Stemler of Carson City; children Terry Lowry of Las Vegas, Bill Pearce of Reno, Barbara Morningstar of Minden, and Debra Guichard of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Lone Mountain Cemetery.
