Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 38-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 5:11 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of Marian Avenue on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and violation of a suspended sentence. He allegedly crashed his truck into his house. Bail was set at $3,500.

• Cory James Talley, 18, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of South Carson Street on a warrant for suspicion of felony domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,000.

• A 20-year-old student from Carson City was additionally booked into the Carson City Jail at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of misdemeanor injury to jail property. He allegedly tore up his jail-issued blanket and ripped open the seam on his mattress. Bail was set at $1,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of locks cut and shipping containers burglarized in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East at 10 a.m.

• Report of gunshots heard on Poole Way between Carmine and Sherman lanes at 12:41 p.m.

• A student at Silver State Charter High School was found in possession of marijuana at 1:42 p.m.

• A woman asked at 1:54 p.m. that a deputy pick up ammunition "that has been in her garage for a very long time."

• Report of a "dine and dash" at the Nugget Coffee Shop at 2:41 p.m. The suspect left on the table his alternative sentencing paperwork.

• Jewelry and $1,200 in cash was stolen form the 3800 block of Alexa Way sometime before 3:49 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 500 block of Phillips Street at 3:03 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 8:50 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Misdemeanor arrest at the county line at 1:36 p.m. of a man picked up in Carson on a Lyon County warrant.

• Report at 5:58 p.m. of a 15-year-old from Fernley last seen the previous evening.
