Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 32-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 11:33 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of South Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor expired vehicle registration, driving without insurance, driving on a suspended license and failure to appear. Bail was set at $2,163.

• A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 6:13 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, driving on a revoked license and failure to complete community service. Bail was set at $4,632.

• A 20-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 3:31 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $500.

• A 58-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 1:02 p.m. Thursday on Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $2,448.

• Farron Raymond Cook, 21, a boat detailer from Carson City, was arrested at 7:49 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Conestoga Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon, contempt of court and failure to appear. Bail was set at $3,665.

• A 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 7:34 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor threats. She allegedly went into Burlington Coat Factory after her mother was fired and threatened to deliver an "a - - beating" to whomever got in her way.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 1:50 p.m.

• A man on Aspen Way in Fernley reported at 6:04 p.m. that his father was irate and threw a knife at him. A felony arrest was made.

• Felony arrest on Bentgrass Drive in Stagecoach after a report of man pulling a gun on a woman.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of a man falling off a bar stool on C Street at 12:18 p.m.

• A person turned in a car key they found in the snow at 1:54 p.m. near The Silver Stope shop on C Street.
