Betty Mary Jorgensen, 81, of Carson City, died Dec. 1, 2010. She was born March 26, 1929, in San Francisco to Charles and Elizabeth Minerva (Steele) Parham. She is survived by husband Henry K. Jorgensen; children Mary Frances Allen of Fargo, Okla., James Winford of La Pine, Ore., Charlotte Sturges of Carson City, and Deborah Nichols of Los Banos, Calif.; brother Marvin Hinshaw of Boulder, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
