John G. Degenkolb, 95, died Dec. 4, 2010, in Carson City. He was born Oct. 24, 1915, in Chicago to Gustav and Alice Degenkolb. He is survived by daughters Alice Kujawa and Barbara Parmenter. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 21, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church, Carson City. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
