Kathy Nelson, 40, died Dec. 2, 2010, in Carson City. She was born June 19, 1970, in St. Joseph, Mich., to Lester and Priscilla DeWitt. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony DeWitt. Survivors include her mother; husband Eddie Nelson; son Jonathon Kimmelman; daughter Diana Kimmelman; brother Robert DeWitt; and sisters Debra DeWitt and Stacy Roe. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
