About 230 Stagecoach residents were under a boil-water notice Tuesday and Wednesday after a valve replacement on the water line there.
"It's just precautionary," said Lynne Arndell, manager of the Stagecoach General Improvement District. "We do this anytime we do repairs to the line."
Before the order can be lifted, she said, tests must show the water is clean. If results from Tuesday and Wednesday come back clean, residents will be able to drink water from the tap today.
Arndell said the district has been doing regular maintenance on the line and residents have become accustomed to the temporary restrictions.
Affected homes are notified via e-mail, notices on their doors as well as around town and some phone calls, Arndell said.
