It Should Be Stopped: For the past week to 10 days, wood men on the Carson river have been exploding giant powder cartridges under wood jams to break up ice and liberate the logs. After each explosion scores of trout and white fish come to the surface, killed by the concussion. The attention of the county officers should stop this criminal destruction of fish.
