Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Jose Rivera, 36, of Carson City, was arrested at 7:01 p.m. Wednesday at Musser and Walsh streets on suspicion of felony providing false ID to avoid prosecution, misdemeanor driving without a valid license, a tail light infraction and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $25,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of a mailbox stolen from the 1100 block of Goldfield Avenue at 11:28 a.m.

• Report of an employee on Conestoga Drive threatening violence after being denied benefits at 11:49 a.m.

• Accident in the 700 block of Clear Creek Road at 12:27 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway at 2:41 p.m.

• A man reported he was kicked and had his keys taken near Tiger Drive at 11:15 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Coroner call on South Street in Yerington at 7:06 a.m.

• Report in Fernley of a Cottonwood Elementary School teacher having something taken from her purse before 2:53 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Arrest made on Cartwright Road at 11:01 a.m.

• Report of a bulldog and a Chihuahua running loose on Delta Drive at 4:18 p.m.
