Willow Bill, known for making willow reindeer with Carson City school children, will be hosting a workshop this weekend and Tuesday at the Carson Mall.
The classes will be 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, 2-3 p.m. Sunday, and 4-5:30 p.m. and 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Cost is $25. Participants must bring a drill, drill bit and extension cord. Other materials will be provided.
Each participant will leave with his or her own willow reindeer. Examples of the reindeer can be seen on the Capitol lawn and other locations along Highway 395 from Gardnerville to the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
