(Nevada Appeal Capitol Bureau) - Gov.-elect Brian Sandoval has decided to keep the current directors of Personnel and Taxation and to bring back a former director in a new position.
Sandoval issued an announcement Thursday, saying he will retain Personnel Director Terry Thienhaus and Taxation Director Dino DiCianno.
"I am pleased that Teresa and Dino have agreed to join my effort to get Nevada working again," he said.
In addition, he tapped Terry Johnson, former director of the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation, to head Business and Industry. Johnson will replace Diane Cornwall who Sandoval decided not to reappoint.
Johnson also served as state labor commissioner for five years and worked in B&I's Office of Business Finance and Planning.
