Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Alan Mayoral Ortiz, 24, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:27 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Hot Springs Road on a warrant for suspicion of felony conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act. Bail was set at $10,000.

• Matthew Stephen Phillips, 18, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 12:49 p.m. Thursday at State and William streets on suspicion of felony theft.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of a counterfeit $10 passed at a convenience store on Highway 50 East on Wednesday night.

• One Opportunity School student allegedly threatened to kill another student if he didn't give him money.

• Vehicle burglary report on Sunrise Drive at 7:27 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Arrest on Truck Inn Way at 2:16 a.m. in Fernley.

• Report of steel and iron missing from the 1700 block of Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 10:47 p.m.

• Report of several items missing from a property on Santa Fe Trail in Stagecoach at 2:28 p.m.

• Report of a vehicle hitting a tree on Hardie Lane in Fernley at 6:34 p.m.

• Arrest on Flowery Road in Dayton at 10:37 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A man on A Street reported people keep running into his wall with their vehicles.

• Accident on Grieners Bend at 8:02 p.m.
