Obituary: Dale Leroy Dory

Dale Leroy Dory, a Nevada native, passed on Dec. 18, 2010, in Carson City. He was born Feb. 4, 1937, in Austin, Nev., to Peter and Lillian (Tonkin) Dory, who were also Nevada natives. The family moved to Hawthorne, where they lived for many years. He graduated from Hawthorne High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and his niece. He is survived by his wife Mary E. Dory; daughters Kimberly Hahn, Valerie Hill (Roy), Pamela Stelton (Ted) and Lisa Reid (Ron); and grandchildren Juliet Garcia, David and Tish Hill, Elizabeth Hill, Abagail Hill, Steven Stelton, Zackery Lamphery and Dakota Hahn; nephews Ken (Sandy) and Keith (Joyce) Korti; and niece Carrie.
