Wiles celebrate 50th Anniversary

Bob and Marlene Wiles of Carson City recently celebrated their wedding 50th anniversary.

The couple were married Dec. 9, 1960, in Manteca, Calif., and have lived in Carson City for 38 years. They celebrated their anniversary with family and then enjoyed a trip to the Death Valley area.

Bob Wiles is a retired minister and semi-truck driver and Marlene Wiles is a homemaker and retired childcare provider.

They have three children and five grandchildren. Their daughter Susan Gunn, son-in-law Jim and daughter Krissie live in Carson City/Reno area. Their son David Wiles, daughter-in-law Debbie and children Zach and Brianna live in Carson City. Their youngest daughter Kathleen Garfinkel, son-in-law Jimmey and children Kacey and Jessie live in Plymouth, Calif.
