Due to water utility improvements, Fairview Drive between Butti Way and 5th Street roundabout will be reduced to one lane with flaggers during daytime hours. Expect minor delays.
As a result of the next phase of the Nevada Department of Transporta-tion project on the freeway, Koontz Lane will remain closed between Raglan Circle and Edmonds Drive. In addition, southbound traffic on Edmonds Drive at Koontz Lane will continue to experience a lane shift and temporary traffic control as the connection of Koontz Lane to Edmonds Drive is constructed. This lane shift will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Though it is not scheduled for the dates listed above, an advanced notice is being issued that the inauguration for incoming Gov. Brian Sandoval will take place Jan. 3. The following road closures will occur as a result of the events during the inauguration.
• Musser Street will be closed between Carson Street and Stewart Street from 6 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Carson Street will be closed between Fifth Street and Robinson Street from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
