Carson Valley Medical Center presents life support classes for healthcare providers.
The course "Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider" will be 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 6. Pre-registration is required by Dec. 30.
The course teaches healthcare professionals to respond to life-threatening emergencies. Current BLS certification is required. Cost is $45 for community members.
"Advanced Cardiac Life Support" will be 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 13. Pre-registration is required by Jan. 6.
The course teaches healthcare providers to respond to a cardiovascular emergency and current ACLS certification is required. Cost is $100 for community members.
Classes are at Carson Valley Medical Center's Administration Building Conference Room at 1107 Highway 395 in Gardnerville.
