Carson Valley Community Theatre is hosting an acting workshop taught by Peter Frisch, well-known producer, director, and acting teacher and coach.

The intensive workshop will take place over two days from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 8-9.

The topic, "Physical and Vocal Adjustments" teaches how actors experiment and learn how to take physical and vocal risks while integrating these choices into the emotional life of the character. Adjustments are specific properties of the voice and body and must relate to the "Intention," "Why" or "Obstacle."

This workshop is available to anyone interested in acting.

The class is open to 12 students and the cost is $150. To register please call Lucille Rao at 775-843-3493

Classes will be held at the Carson Valley Arts Council Building on Highway 395 between County Road and First Street in Minden.
