CRAB CLAWS FOR MARTI GRAS at St. Teresa

The 7th annual Crab Feed benefit for St. Teresa School is coming this Friday. There are a few tickets left and if you haven't been to this event you should. I so enjoyed it last year. Throw dieting out the window and enjoy the food, the friends and most of all raising funds for St. Teresa's. The silent auction is amazing plus there's a raffle and dancing. Words of wisdom from Father Chuck are always appreciated

LIBRARY serving THREE CUPS OF TEA

Launching a series of amazing talents at the Carson Library's new program, Capital City Reads features a multi-media presentation with Rick Gunn, Soul Cycler. Seriously, when Rick told me a few years back of his plans to bicycle around the world, I thought that is crazy. But I have to admit I was jealous for the chance to say I'm going around the world on my bike and taking life one day and opportunity at a time. He brought back, as only Rick can do, some life-changing "soulcycler" photos of places most people only dream of. Check out his Web site and don't miss this event. www.rickgunnphotography.com

The Mile High Jazz Band Association group includes favorites for dancing from the 1920s to today. All proceeds benefit the Family Support Council of Douglas County.
