Helen Laas, 86, of Carson City died Jan. 29, 2010, at Evergreen Health and Rehab Center. She was born July 6, 1923, in Berlin, N.D., to Arthur and Lillian (Worrel) Calhoun. She is survived by her husband Joel Laas of Carson City. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
