Sunset Rotary hosts Valentine's dinner

The Carson City Sunset Rotary Club's annual Valentine's dinner and silent auction are set for Feb. 13 at the Plaza Convention Center,

211 E. 9th St.

No-host cocktail hour and photos are from 6-7 p.m., with dinner at 7 pm. and dancing from 8-11 p.m. Tickets for the three-course dinner are $35. Tickets are available at the Plaza Hotel front desk.

The silent auction will include trips, gift baskets, golf, dinners, art and more. A $20 raffle ticket gives participants a chance to win a ready-made wine cellar - 100 bottles of boutique wines. There will be two additional prizes of one case of wine each.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Food for Thought's 2010 summer meal program, Court Appointed Special Advocates and the 3rd Grade Dictionary Program.
