Nellie Jane Gau, 88, of Minden, died February 6, 2010. She was born Sept. 5, 1921, in Pittsburg, Pa., to Morton Vernon and Bessie A. Gray. She is survived by her daughters Susan J. McDuffie of Minden and Linda L. Weaver of Rockport, Texas; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome Joseph Gau, sister Mary E. Peck, and brother Morton O. Gray. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
