William Semkiw, 78, of Carson City, died Feb. 5, 2010, in Carson City. He was born April 18, 1931, in Detroit, Mich. He was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Semkiw. He is survived by his sons Bruce Semkiw, Lance Semkiw, and Scott Semkiw; daughter Lisa Plomp; and brothers, Walter and Danny. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery in Carson City. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
