Jeri Beard , 48, died Feb. 6, 2010, in Carson City. She was born April 22, 1961, In Columbus, Ohio, to James and Jacquelene Shoemaker. She is survived by son Bryan Beard; and brothers John Shoemaker and James Shoemaker. A visitation will be 10-11 a.m. today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
