Obituary: Joel Lynn Ball

Joel Lynn Ball died Thursday, January 7, 2010, at the Topeka Hot Springs. He was 63 years old.

A Nevada native and Yerington resident, Joel was a private man. Friends and community know him as honest, kind, sincere, and always having a smile.

Joel enjoyed traveling as a salesman for the last 20-plus years. He had many trials and tribulation in his life but was a devout Christian who loved life and his Creator.

Joel is preceded in death by his beloved son Jeffrey; his parents Harry and Francis Ball; his siblings Ronald, Dianna, Mike; and his dear friend Dollie Faye Sarli.

Joel is survived by his two daughters, Heather Demma and Christina Wade, and his six grandchildren.

Although his daughters had not seen him in years they have and will always love their dad for his eccentric, adventurous, and loving qualities.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Whitney Funeral Home according to Joel's wishes.
