RENO (AP) - Reno lawyer Chuck Kozak is bowing out of the Republican U.S. Senate race, eyeing the state Assembly instead.
Kozak was among about a dozen seeking the Republican nomination to run against Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in November.
He says he plans to run in Assembly District 31, currently held by Democrat Bernie Anderson.
Anderson is prevented from seeking re-election by term limits.
