Jennifer L. Aleman and Karl G. Hutter were married on Saturday evening, Jan. 23, 2010, at the Tides Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Father Paul Mayer officiated.
Kate Hutter, sister of the groom, served at the bridesmaid, and the groomsman was Max Gundlach, a longtime friend of the groom. Chiara Sulprizio Rader was a reader at the service.
The bride is the daughter of Hilda and Aurelio Aleman of McAllen, Texas. She is a managing principal of the KAP Group, the firm that she co-founded, which provides strategic marketing services to assist real estate and investment managers in raising capital. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Mrs. Hutter is on the board of the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company, and is a member of the Bay Cities Chapter of the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots.
The groom is the son of Collie and Charles Hutter of Carson City, where he was raised. He is vice president, sales and marketing of Click Bond, Inc. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology program, where he received degrees in Systems Engineering and Operations Management.
Mr. Hutter serves on the Alumni Board of the Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, N.H., from which he graduated. Professionally, he serves as chairman of the Aerospace Locknut Manufacturers Association, and on the board of the Industrial Fasteners Institute.
The couple resides in San Francisco and Beverly Hills.
