This year is the 75th anniversary of the Nevada State Parks System. A poster competition was initiated in October and CHS met the challenge victoriously with artwork from Ms. Caston's and Mr. Malley's art rooms.

First place went to Alexis Church for a $100 prize. Sara Shores placed second and Sierra Whitton earned third place.

Honorable mentions went to Abigail Hersey, Charissa Johnson, James Atkinson, Trevor Stocke and Brian Rosas.

These students were chosen as the best artists of all students in the state and should be proud to include this award on their resumes.
