Obituary: Lilian Newman

Lilian Newman, 71, died Feb. 13, 2010, in Carson City. She was born July 6, 1938, in Manchester, England, to Angus and Nellie Davis. She is survived by her husband Gary Newman of Carson City; son Geoff Gallagher of Los Angeles; daughters, Kim Gallagher of Carson City and Lynn Gallagher of Reno; sister Dorothy Davis of Manchester; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel in Carson City.
