Science fairs are off and running

It's science fair season in the Carson City School District. Mark Twain held its fair on Feb. 11. Fritsch and Bordewich-Bray elementary schools hosted fairs Thursday.

Upcoming science fairs within the district are:

Tuesday

Empire Elementary School - 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday

Carson Middle School - 6 p.m.

Seeliger Elementary School - 6:30 p.m.

Fremont Elementary School - 6:30 p.m.

March 2

Eagle Valley Middle School - 6 p.m.

March 16

Science Fair Award Night to honor winners from all schools will be 6-8 p.m. at Sarah Winnemucca Hall in the Aspen Building at Western Nevada College.
