GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A Nevada man has pleaded guilty to robbing two banks in western Colorado and a third in Las Vegas.

Twenty-five-year-old Douglas Edward James of Las Vegas pleaded guilty in Denver federal court on Friday to three counts of bank robbery.

He faces up to 75 years in prison.

Authorities say he robbed a Grand Junction bank on July 17, a Las Vegas bank on Aug. 19 and another Grand Junction bank on Oct. 21.

Investigators in Las Vegas say they found a woman's wig and a Denver Broncos jersey with former quarterback Jake Plummer's name and number in a car registered to James.

Witnesses to the July 17 robbery in Grand Junction said the robber wore a woman's wig and a Plummer jersey.
