Elwood Christopher Johnson died Feb. 22, 2010 in Tumwater, Wash. He was born July 2, 1918, in Carson City and was a long time Carson Valley rancher and Lake Tahoe resident. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen. He is survived by his children Julie Johnson, Lynn Thompson, Jack Lovell and their spouses; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
