Set design workshop at BAC on Saturday

The Brewery Arts Center will host a set design workshop, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday in the BAC Performance Hall, 511 W. King St.

The course will be taught by John Procaccini and Amber Stinebrink, who have extensive experience in the set-design and entertainment-production field.

Workshop attendees will learn everything about set design and construction from start to finish including how to set up a base camp to save time on the set.

The set design workshop is part of a full suite of filmmaking workshops and courses being offered at the Brewery Arts Center as part of the "Northern Nevada Film Factory," a filmmakers and animators club.

Courses include hair and makeup, screen writing, music and scoring, wardrobe and costuming, and overall filmmaking workshops.
