Obituary: Madelyn Jo Bowers

Madelyn Jo Bowers, 69, died Jan. 11, 2010, in Carson City. She was born Nov. 4, 1940, in Windham, Ohio, to Vernice and Gladys Long. She was preceded in death in 2007 by her husband James Bowers Sr. She is survived by son James G. Bowers Jr. and his wife Lorraine; daughters Deborah Bowers and Jody Davis and her husband Brian, all from Carson City; sister Vicky Paugh and her husband Gary of Florida; and nine grandchildren. A graveside service will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
