Kilpatricks celebrate 50th anniversary

Jerry and Carolyn Kilpatrick celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 9 with family and friends during a dinner given in their honor at Pho' Country restaurant in Carson City.

The Kilpatricks recently returned from a 10-day cruise of the Alaskan Inside Passage, a gift from their daughters and sons-in-law Kristi and Ed Murkovich, Kimberly and John Kilpatrick-McQueary, Kari and Geoff Rhodes and their adopted daughter Theresa Moser.

Jerry and Carolyn were married April 9, 1960, in Ventura, Calif. They have called Jacks Valley home for 36 years while raising their daughters.

Jerry Kilpatrick recently retired from the construction field. Carolyn Kilpatrick is retired from the State of Nevada, Department of Corrections.

The Kilpatricks also have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
