This weekend will bring temperatures in the upper 90s, but also will bring chances of some isolated thunderstorms, said Steve Vanderburg, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Reno.
Lows will be near 60 at night.
By Sunday, the storms are expected to bring wetter weather, but chances of precipitation still is 30 percent, according to the National Weather Service.
"It doesn't look like there's going to be any strong winds," Vanderburg said.
Meanwhile, the region is also under a fire weather watch because of the thunderstorms and dry weather.
