Joseph Louis Hodos, age 97 of Carson City, formerly of Bethel Park, Pa., passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Josephine Rose (Masauskas) Hodos. Father of Sister Carolyn Hodos, S.B.S of Birmingham, Ala., Linda (John Brent) Bradburn of Tampa, Fla., and James (Ellen) Hodos of Washoe Valley; grandfather of Mark Hodos, Christine Gray, Cheryl Brady and Jacqueline Donahue; great-grandfather of Andrew Joseph Gray, Madeline Brady, Ryan Brady, and Kaitlyn Donahue; brother of Elizabeth Ross, George Hodos and Ann Ross: stepbrother of Steven Hodos. Joe retired in 1975 after 39 years with J & L Steel Co. in Pittsburgh, Pa., and was very active in the Carson City Senior Citizens Center as a volunteer, member of Steelworkers of America Retired. Member of St. Teresa's Parish in Carson City, a charter member of St. Thomas More Church in Bethel Park and an avid Steelers fan. Friends welcome Monday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Freyvogel-Slater Funeral Directors, 112 Fort Couch Rd, Bethel Park, PA. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas More Church.
