Gibbons' chief of staff, Robin Reedy, named to TRPA

Gov. Jim Gibbons has named his chief of staff Robin Reedy to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency.

She will fill the seat vacated by real estate executive Donna Ruthe, who resigned to devote more time to the Board of Medical Examiners.

In addition, he reappointed Van Hefner to the medical examiners.

The Board of Medical Examiners oversees doctors, physician assistants and respiratory therapists licensed to practice in Nevada. TRPA is the bistate, multi-county governing board which oversees environmental, development and other issues in the Tahoe Basin.
