The owner of Straw Hat Pizza restaurant in Carson City received the franchise's Outstanding Owner Award for 2010 on July 19.
Pam Anderson received the award at the Straw Hat Annual Convention in San Diego. Her Straw Hat Pizza restaurant was recognized for assisting many local schools, clubs, churches and athletic groups in Carson City with their fund raising efforts. She also has developed new menu items for the chain.
Anderson has owned and operated Nevada's only Straw Hat Pizza restaurant since 1985 and recently opened a new location at 2010 US Hwy 50 East.
