Audrey Fralinger was born in Genoa, Nev., June 1, 1931, to Dandro and Alice George. She passed away May 27, 2010. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Carson City where she grew up. She was proud to be a native Nevadan and a member of the Washoe Tribe. She attended Carson City schools for 12 years, graduating in 1950. Upon graduation, she joined the U.S. Army and served in Japan during the Korean War.
As a homemaker, Audrey raised five children. She was a superior mother and wife, devoted to her husband and children. She is survived by Jack, her husband of 52 years; sons Frank, Dandro and Jack; daughters Cheryl and Karen; 13 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Audrey's loving and generous spirit will be missed by all those who came to know her. At her request, no services will be held. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for arrangements.
