Kids & Horses is working to expand its program and is seeking volunteers to assist with side walking during lessons. Kids & Horses trains all volunteers for a half-day at the ranch following North American Riding for the Handicapped Association regulations so they can learn to be a side-walker or eventually a horse handler.

Kids & Horses lessons are only an hour long, but volunteers can give as little or as much time as they want as long as they commit to a consistent schedule.

Kids and Horses has benefited those who are faced with blindness, paralysis, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, autism, emotional issues, amputation, and many other impairments.
