Health Inspections for June 9

The following health inspections are for the period of May 13-25:

• National's Cafe Restaurant, 1701 N. Carson St., scored 92 points. Improper procedures are used when washing items, utensils in the three-compartment sink. Employee was washing and rinsing items under running water. A supply of paper towels is not present at the kitchen hand sink, the employee's restroom or the two customer restrooms. Food service operations are not separated from sleeping or living quarters.

• B'sghetti's Restaurant, 318 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Papa Murphy's Take and Bake Restaurant, 1894 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Domino's Pizza Takeout, 3231 Highway 50 East, scored 97 points. At least one employee of this establishment must be a certified food handler.

• McDonald's Restaurant #31007, 3200 Market St., scored 85 points. Employees are eating food in the dishwashing room. A chair and tray of food are completely blocking the kitchen hand sink. Hand-washing sinks are not convenient or accessible. Mixing spoons for drinks are stored in a dirty container of room-temperature water. Cloths used on food-contact surfaces are not clean, do not contain sanitizer residual or are not used properly. There is no measurable residual sanitizer in any of the four wiping cloth buckets. Staff clothing is stored on food items and single-service utensils.

• Casino Fandango Duke's Steakhouse, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Casino Fandango Amo Italian Restaurant, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• El Charro Avitia Bar/Lounge, 4389 S. Carson St., scored 99 points. Shelving inside the reach-in units are rusted, including the bottom shelves. Drinking glasses are stored with service-side down on rusted shelving. Water is ponding inside all reach-in units, including the beer keg cooler. Bar mats holding clean glassware have sticky residue underneath them.

• El Charro Avitia Restaurant, 4389 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• FISH Food Bank, 138 E. Long St., scored 100 points.

• Carson City Parks, Fuji Park Mobile Trailer, 701 Clear Creek Road, scored 99 points. The water is not working in the unit.

• Carson City Parks, Fuji Park Exhibit Hall and Kitchen, 701 Clear Creek Road, scored 100 points.
