Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki will face Reno City Councilwoman Jessica Sferrazza this November.

Krolicki was elected to his first term in 2006 and beat his primary opponent, Barbara Lee Woollen 73.3 percent to 20.5 percent.

"I'm hearted by the significant amount of support we've received throughout the state, north, south, rural urban," Krolicki said. "We now have a Republican team assembled, I think the Republican family will gather around this team and I look forward to a spirited, and successful victory come November."

Sferrazza, who is halfway through her third term on the Reno city council, beat out three other Democratic candidates to challenge Krolicki this fall.

She had 43.5 percent of the vote as of press time.

"I believe people are responding to my message of job creation, stimulating the economy and turning Nevada around," Sferrazza said Tuesday night. "I believe (Krolicki) has been the invisible man, I have a plan, I have a message and I have a plan."

Both candidates had won every county reporting results as of press time Tuesday night.
