RENO (AP) - Police say technology is fueling an increase in video voyeurism in the Reno area.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of secretly filming women in the Reno area in recent weeks.

The suspects include a veteran school teacher accused of using a small iPod to film co-workers in a unisex restroom.

They also include a plumber who allegedly used his cell phone to film up the skirts of two women at their workplaces and a scorned ex-boyfriend who police say secretly filmed his girlfriend during sex acts.

Police say the availability of inexpensive portable or wearable cameras is fueling the trend, and they're hoping attention over it will spur more victims to come forward.

The crime is a gross misdemeanor under a law passed by the 2007 Legislature.
